I'm a senior data and analytics consultant based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Helping organisations turn fragmented data into reliable platforms, decision-grade dashboards, and AI products.

Through my consultancy KYD Analytics B.V. I have delivered end-to-end engagements across e-commerce, insurance, transportation, finance, energy, and telecom, including bol.com, VodafoneZiggo, Marktplaats, AllianzDirect, Benerail (NS), Fastned, ABN Amro, Floward, Shimano, and Metito. My work consistently spans data strategy, architecture, analytics delivery, and stakeholder enablement.

Recent highlights:

At bol.com, built an XGBoost fraud detection pipeline processing 3M+ monthly login events, blocking 15,000+ fraudulent logins and protecting €1.23M.

At Benerail (NS), led the migration from fragmented Excel reports to Azure Synapse then to Databricks, enabling Data as a Service for B2B clients.

At AllianzDirect, architected a data mesh on Databricks with Unity Catalog, medallion layers, and federated RBAC.

At Fastned, developed time-series demand prediction models that drove 50% savings in electricity pre-purchasing.

At Marktplaats, design and analyse commercial-balance A/B experiments on one of NL's largest platforms.

My background combines a formal Econometrics MSc from Tilburg University with 8 Microsoft / Scrum / TOGAF certifications. I work in English and Dutch (B2), remote-first across EU with up to 1 day/week on-site inside The Netherlands

Led the revamp of the GA4 tracking across Marktplaats platforms. Inventorised, catalogued and curated all events, cross referenced it with doain experts to check which of them are needed, which are stale, what purpose they are fitting. Created an Event Library to use when preparing metrics for Leadership. Also led team cohesion exercises with shared repo, auto documentation reviews to make sure knowledge doesnt get lost when someone leaves.

The login team has been divided into two parts, the development team building login features for the webshop and the Data team tasked with reducing fraud, specifically Account Takeovers. I led two deployments already, one of a XGBoost Classification Model and one Anomaly Detection model. The goal was to reduce fraud from 910k euros in 2024 to 500k in 2025.
