My major strength is that I bring decades of working on all flavours of IT projects that have touched every aspect of corporate IT - and the enthusiasm of genuinely enjoying working in complex IT environments alongside a broad spectrum of IT talent & business owner/end user communities.

Nearly 30 years as IT Consultant + Project Manager across multiple domains & technologies, from Mainframe and BI/DW down to iOS + Android within large & highly complex environments - often working with multiple 3rd party suppliers (onshore/nearshore/offshore) & reporting up to C level.

20+ years specialising in + around Windows as system engineer/solution designer, migration specialist & IT Infra Project/Program Manager.

I have delivered network migrations (physical, firewall/zoning, VPN, NetScaler, SDWAN etc), telephony, data centre moves (P2V, V2V), on-prem to cloud (Azure/AWS) for infra + applications, Citrix/SBC + VDI, migrations from Citrix to physical endpoints, BI/DW, SAP, M365, D365, SQL, Exchange, MDM (InTune + MobileIron), application packaging + virtualisation, User Environment Virtualisation & management (e.g Appsense), Active Directory, SCCM (+other older deployment/mgmt tech such as Tivoli), EDR+SIEM upgrades/implementations, AIM/IDM implementations.

Mainframe consolidation/downsizings & offloading towards Linux, along with the associated application testing, decommissioning etc.

Application migrations (from discovery, intake, through rework, testing, deployment to PRD then decommission of old apps/infra), including from data centre to data centre, data centre to cloud, provider to provider etc.

iOS + Android management/L3 support + MDM migration.

OSX desktop deployment + management with Apple Business Manager.

Digital Workplace– InTune Product Owner + Migration specialist Owner of the InTune platform. Migration project from MobileIron to InTune for iOS+Android platforms. Citrix to Win11 migration, infra, OS & application from on-prem to Azure. Technical + project liaison between business/L2 & L3 at IBM. Belfius, having been a Citrix company for many years, moved towards physical Win11 laptops, cloud-first applications + Intune/Azure. Role was to ensure seamless migration, then move to steady-state BAU both within the organisation and also with the provider, IBM.

Focus on mergers and acquisitions, e.g onboarding of small to large companies into Ravago workplace – mail & identity, M365, Sharepoint, AD (Azure+On prem AD), network, firewall & security, workplace,telephony fileserver etc. PM for other large internal projects such as new sites/factories, IT consolidation/simplification rollouts e.g move to single EDR, rollout of SD WAN (Cato), firewall consolidations, Windows 11, "cloud first" strategy, move to Azure for various business critical apps such as SAP and Dynamics + others.

. Initially on Windows 10 migration project, moved quickly onto Active Directory migration – a legal requirement to separate NMBS from Infrabel. Merged the 2 projects into a single program with a combined budget of 5m+ eur and team of 50+ personnel.

Worked with Tata Consulting Services (nearshore & offshore) as main provider for the datacentre/application migration + with Ypto & Infrabel
technical teams for AD migration - as the legacy environment was highly polluted and poorly managed for many years.

Considerable analytical and technical input was required on my part to drive the teams to deliver workable solutions, including fully automated and robust Win7 to Win10 tooling, AD migration tooling (Quest + inhouse), AD migration via VPN, "fast migrations" for train guardian tablet devices, as well as find other solutions for the new Covid reality, spec and create PoC BI reporting for operational, stakeholder + Exec levels amongst other typical PM/PgM activities including budgeting, reporting, use of method (PM-Squared) etc

Regularly reported into CEO/CIO/Board level.
