At Belgian Defense, I work as a Functional Analyst on applications supporting the recruitment and selection of new candidates. These platforms manage the full onboarding journey, from initial registration to testing and evaluation. My role involves both the development of new features and the maintenance of a legacy system currently being rebuilt.

•Requirement Analysis & Functional Design (DefRS): Led requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define needs related to recruitment workflows and candidate evaluation processes. Translated these into functional specifications and user stories aligned with operational objectives.

•Testing & Validation: Designed and executed test scenarios to validate new features, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system stability before release. Worked closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues during testing phases.

•Application Ownership & Maintenance (ARES & HERMES): Acted as application owner for a legacy system, ensuring its stability, handling bug fixes, and coordinating updates while supporting the transition toward a new platform.

•System Evolution & Collaboration: Contributed to the redesign and improvement of applications, ensuring continuity between existing and new systems. Acted as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and reliable system performance.

At INAMI, I work as a Functional Analyst, engaging deeply in project management and system enhancement for healthcare applications such as Group Management and DIGIDID. My role involves directly interfacing with users to capture and analyze requirements, ensuring efficient system upgrades and functionality enhancements while respecting GDPR and data privacy rules.

•Requirement Analysis (Groupmanagement): Led requirement gathering sessions with INAMI users to define needs for managing healthcare premium requests. Analyzed and documented requirements while ensuring compliance with GDPR for sensitive financial and personal healthcare data.

•System Redesign and API Strategy (DIGIDID): Directed the overhaul of the DIGIDID application, enabling external communications with non-health industry professionals. Designed and tested REST API integrations (GET, PUT, DELETE) with Postman, ensuring secure and reliable data exchanges.

•Functional Analysis & Data Governance: Acted as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, translating requirements into actionable user stories. Oversaw development and testing phases while managing sensitive data flows between systems, ensuring both operational efficiency and GDPR compliance.

•Scrum Master Support: Took over Scrum Master responsibilities when needed, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions. Ensured alignment between business and development teams and helped remove blockers to keep delivery on track.

Led a small team of developers delivering MVPs for startups across blockchain, AI, and web/mobile applications. Combined project coordination with hands-on business and functional analysis: writing specifications, designing system integrations, and validating implementations. Translated stakeholder needs into clear user stories and ensured delivery of working solutions. Key projects:

• Octopus AI Platform (B2B SaaS): Led functional design of a low-code AI platform powered by ChatGPT. Defined data flows, user management, and third-party API integrations. Validated backend endpoints (Postman) and contributed to enterprise UX flows.

• Gaming & Gambling Smart Contracts (Solana): Managed specification, development, and testing of betting smart contracts. Defined tokenomics and data visibility rules. Oversaw Phantom wallet integrations and validated contract interactions for security, fairness, and compliance.

• Scrum Master & Agile Delivery: Led Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Managed priorities, tracked progress, and ensured timely MVP delivery within budget. Acted as the main liaison between clients and developers.
