I help organizations deploy AI systems that are reliable, safe, and regulation-ready. My focus is LLM evaluation, red teaming, RAG architecture, and EU AI Act compliance — typically through embedded engagements within product and engineering teams.

Most recently, I owned the red teaming and guardrailing strategy for LLM-based assistants at a major European bank, designing the evaluation pipelines that drove go/no-go production decisions. Before that, I spent seven years at Fraunhofer IAIS leading applied NLP research and client-facing projects across finance, legal, and automotive — bridging academic research and enterprise delivery. Earlier in my career, I deployed fraud prevention systems at European banks as a technical consultant.

PhD in Computer Science (explainable AI), published at ACM SIGIR, and fluent in five European languages. Based in Brussels, available across the EU.
