Publishing and printing (books for education, legal, art & professional photography, catalogues,…) Started as plant manager a.i. with the goal to make the business unit Print profitable. After six months, and a first success to lift the result to a break even level, I lead 2 big investment projects for a total of 5,5M€. Due to an extremely fast changing market (shrinking market,a drop of order volume, agressive approach of competitors coming from low cost countries, customers shifting focus from high quality at correct price to lowest price at acceptable quality) several scenario's were made for the future (continu, sell or close). This excercise led to the decision to close the business unit Print. I supported the company to go through this procedure, sell the machines and inventories,... .

World leader in high frequency, welded aluminium tubes and profiles Started as with the goal to make the loss making plant profitable again. After improving the operational activities I became general manager (01/2019) to create a long term strategic plan and develop the sales and marketing team. After the carve out (08/2021) I became director and was appointed by the board of directors as managing director to manage the day to day business.

Just in time/just in sequence supplier of fully assembled dashboards for Volvo Car Gent Started as with the goal to bring the weak delivery performance to a world class level. Also replacing the plant manager, when he was not present.
