I’m Marijn, a graphic designer with 12 years of experience in newsrooms and content marketing. I specialize in infographics, information design and data visualization, magazines and editorial illustration — translating complex topics into eye-catching visuals.

At De Tijd, I collaborated with journalists to turn intricate stories into clear infographics, illustrations and visual formats for print and digital platforms. Als grafisch ontwerper was ik verantwoordelijk voor de visuele vormgeving van onder meer de voorpagina’s, de cultuursectie en DS Weekblad. Ik ontwierp en optimaliseerde lay-outs met oog voor esthetiek en leesbaarheid, en creëerde daarnaast illustraties, (interactieve) infographics en digitale verhalen via geanimeerde HTML5-pagina’s die de journalistieke inhoud op een visueel aantrekkelijke en toegankelijke manier versterkten.
