I am a generalist who thrives at the intersection of high-level architecture and low-level system details. My career is defined by a "Why-First" philosophy: I believe that to build the right system, you must first become an expert in the problem it solves, whether that is HR, geography, accountancy, video delivery or national crisis management. I bridge business intent and technical execution, whether that requires writing kernel modules, leading R&D teams, or optimizing multi-million dollar cloud budgets. I don't just build tools; I solve problems by understanding the people, the budget, and the future scalability of the solution. I can use this mindset in projects, building products, building tools, in creating a vision and leading the effort. I have done every part of the chain and I have liked them all and I am willing to do any of the parts.
