    In this framework, Analytical R&D department launched an initiative to accelerate its processes: the program was split into 2 workstreams: Incremental gain (focus on process improvement) & Fosbury (focus on innovation)
    Role : Program Manager of the Acceleration initiative & Project Manager of the implementation of a new tool: MS Project Online

    Tasks
    • Organize and facilitate Workshops
    • Support the creation & the management of 10 projects (covering multiple countries) following PMP methodology
    • Coach the effective project team throughout the program - Give support & guidelines to the 10 Project Managers
    • Map, foster and maintain the connections between the 10 projects

    GSK must be compliant to external legal requirements and regulations. To ensure adherence to these regulatory requirements, Written Standards (controlled documents) are in place. A team of Project Managers is available to support the Business along the whole life cycle of the Written Standards.
    Role: Project Manager and SPOC of 2 platforms in Vaccines R&D.

    Tasks
    Stakeholder management:
    • Interact with the Business to understand needs and expectations (meetings and workshops)
    • SPOC between Business, Operational team and Governance located in the US, Italy and Belgium
    • Ensure relevant and timely communication on project to relevant stakeholders

    Project Planning:
    • Analysis of requirements and create a planning
    • Assess and follow up the risks with implementation planning: proactively identify deviations from schedule and any other issues, evaluate options and implement optimal solutions

    Business Context
    Due to the reorganization of the GSK Vaccines R&D division and the acquisition of Novartis Vaccines, the training management system was not fit for purpose and irrelevant trainings were assigned to people causing compliance issues. Following this observation, Boost project (Business Oriented Organization for Standard and Training) was launched in order to assign the right training to the right people, simplify the training management, save people’s time and align people in one R&D.
    Role: Project Manager and Point of Contact of 3 platforms (around 2500 users in Italy, Belgium and the US)

    Tasks
    Stakeholder management:
    • Interact with the Business to understand needs and expectations (meetings and workshops)
    • Create stakeholder mapping & communication plan
    • Ensure relevant and timely communication on project to relevant stakeholders

    Project Planning:
    • Analyse Business requirements
    • Schedule activities
    • Assess and follow up the project risk (Risk Register): proactively identify deviations from schedule and any other issues, evaluate options and implement optimal solutions.

    Project Execution:
    • Turn Business requirements into system data for operational team
    • Build functional set of trainings : curriculum (core activities & compliance)
