As an Independent Safety Assessor, my role is to provide an objective and impartial evaluation of system safety throughout the project lifecycle. I ensure that all safety activities, processes, and deliverables comply with the applicable standards and regulatory requirements (such as EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129). This includes reviewing safety plans, risk analyses, design and test documentation, and the overall Safety Case to verify completeness, consistency, and traceability of safety evidence. Acting independently from the development and operational teams, I identify potential non-conformities or risks and issue assessment reports and safety opinions that support system certification and authorization for operation.

• Plan, analyze, and conduct safety activities on SIL 4 railway signaling systems

• Perform safety activities in accordance with the requirements

• Plan and coordinate functional safety activities for entire projects and SIL verification

• Test functional safety of products and drafted technical reports

• Manage and perform safety analysis (PHA, Hazard Log, Safety technical report and safety case)

• Plan, analyze, and conduct safety activities on Tractions and Power Converter for Rolling Stock

• Perform safety and RAM activities in accordance with the requirements

• Plan and coordinate functional safety activities for entire projects and SIL verification

• Test functional safety of products and drafted technical reports

• Ensure technical manuals are easy to understand by users

• Determine the software and hardware necessary for the product or project development
