Technical architect of the ILMN product team (Inbound Logistics Management & Node Enabling), consisting of 8 medior/senior Java developers.

- Responsible for a diverse landscape of legacy JBoss application, Spring Boot microservices – both deployed in Docker containers on Kubernetes - and serverless.

- Strong focus on the move to the AWS Cloud by using a serverless design, involving lambda functions, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, Kinesis etc…

- The team operates in a devops manner within a SAFE agile context. We use trunk-based development and a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Sonar and Artifactory. Monitoring tools used are the Elastic stack, Splunk and New Relic.

Hired as technical expert to professionalize the IT setup of the markets domain. - Design and development of a POC using a microservices architecture (Apache Camel, Java Spring, Docker) as solution for a MIFID II project, hosted on AWS. - Setup of a Murex CI/CD chain (Murex CTT, Nexus, Jenkins, JIRA, BitBucket…) through development from scratch of a commercial-grade tool (Mercury Package Manager) which enables automated versioning and deployment capabilities for any off-the-shelf application, using an Angular 4 front-end and a Java 8/Spring REST API back-end, which is documented via Swagger and uses a Maven-like plugin approach. With the consent of ABN, negotiations with several financial institutions for adoption of this tool. The tool can be showcased on AWS. - One of the main developers for building a MIFID II Tradestore on top of MarkLogic, a NoSQL database. This involves development in XQuery, SPARQL and Java.

Engaged through Capco to assist with the last phase of the MXG2000 to MX3 migration, which is meant to go live at October 4 2016. Main focus is troubleshooting and reshaping the full EOD cycle which is lacking stability and performance
