Description

I'm an environmental scientist who spent four years doing experimental research in the Scheldt estuary: fieldwork, lab work, numerical modelling, data analysis. I'm now taking that toolkit into freelance work.

What I do: GIS and spatial analysis, Python-based data processing, remote sensing, and data visualization. I work primarily in water and environmental systems but pick up new domains quickly and enjoy doing so.

I'm more than a scientist. I understand what environmental data means in context - and I can translate it into something a decision-maker, a grant reviewer, or a broader audience can actually use. A background in both science and design (architecture studies, photography, visual work) means the output tends to look as clear as it reads.

Based in Belgium. Available for remote and on-site projects.
