Functional Responsibilities
 Propose different approaches to communicate the work of the Cities Alliance Joint Work
Programme (JWP) on Cities and Migration through short videos, photography and/or other.
 Join field missions of the JWP team to Tunisia, Uganda, Ethiopia and additional countries to
document ongoing work and results.
 Produce at least one high-quality film of about 5 minutes for each of the partnering cities
of the JWP to showcase the challenges and opportunities of migration for the city, its
residents and the migrants. Currently, the JWP works in four countries and eight cities.
 Produce at least one high-quality film of about 5 minutes for each partnering country of
the JWP to showcase the challenges and opportunities of migration to secondary cities, its
residents and the migrants.
 Produce one high-quality film of less than 5 minutes summarizing key messages across the
partner countries and cities on migration and secondary cities.
 Establish a photo library of high-quality and edited pictures taken during the field mission
to the JWP partner cities and countries (about 50 agreed pictures per city).
 Other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Migration Specialist.
